Das US-amerikanische Unternehmen Sazerac hat mit dem Unternehmen Brown-Forman die Übernahme der Traditionsmarke Southern Comfort vereinbart. Der Kauf der seit 1979 im Besitz von Brown-Forman befindlichen Marke soll bis März dieses Jahres abgeschlossen sein. Nebenbei wechselt auch die hierzulande nicht vertriebene Marke Tuaca zur Sazerac Company.
