Jeder Drink ist einem der Entdecker gewidmet, die nach dem Motto „Don’t drink it, explore it“ den griechischen Weinbrand von Metaxa promoten: „Pole2Pole“ für den erfahrenen Entdecker Mike Horn, „Smooth Ride“ für die toughe Abenteurerin Laura Bingham und „Deep Dive“ für den Extremtaucher Guillaume Néry.

20 ml Dry Vermouth
5 ml Peach Liqueur
3 Dash Orange Bitters
Glass: Cognac Glass
Garnish: Cinnamon Dust, Orange peel
Method: For Mike, I wanted to represent the way he explores, travelingfrom the South to the North pole. This is a fantastic journey which is expressed visually with the addition of a large, memorable ice ball. The drink needs to be stirred for about 12 seconds and then strained, to fully highlight the strong yet delicately floral flavours of Metaxa.

10 ml Salted Caramel
5 ml Crème de Mûre
15 ml Passion fruit purée
Top Up Champagne
Glass: Old fashioned style
Garnish: Mint Top, Lime Wedge
Method: To Laura, I dedicated this sweet and sour drink, using her favourite fruit: passion fruit. This cocktail combines a strong character with a feminine touch through fruity and sweeter notes – a perfect reflection of Laura.

15ml Elderflower Liqueur
Top up Mediterranean Tonic
Glass: Collins glass
Garnish: Cucumber Slices, Lemon Peel
Method: For Guillaume,I use crushed ice to make a refreshing, builded cocktail, where every ingredient goes straight into the cocktail. I focused on the lemon, as Guillaume drinks a lot of fresh lemon before diving. I wanted to capture the experience of the deep dive, progressing from a light colour at the top of the cocktail to a darker note at the bottom of the glass.
