Ende Januar wurde die Kanadierin Evelyn Chick zur Siegerin der Beefeater MIXLDN Global Bartender Competition 2015 gekürt. Die Bartenderin der Bar „Harbord Room“ in Toronto konnte die Jury mit ihrer „Endless English Summers“ getauften Kreation überzeugen und ihre Konkurrenz aus 31 Nationen hinter sich lassen. Ihr entsprechend den Vorgaben von London inspirierter Gin-Cocktail entführt zu einem Moment des Friedens und der Ruhe abseits des hektischen Alltags in den „Royal Park“. Für Deutschland ging Frank Thelen aus der „Roomers Bar“ in Frankfurt ins Rennen und schaffte es mit seinem Drink „The Trafalgar“ in die Top acht.

Ein Jahr lang wird Evelyn Chick nun das Team um den Beefeater Global Brand Ambassador begleiten und unterstützen. Dabei wird sie unter anderem auf der Moscow Bar Show und dem Bar Convent Berlin Halt machen.
